This 4-pound, almost 3-month-old Havanese puppy is the definition of adorable! Thumper is a sweet, playful, and intelligent little guy who is ready to find his forever home. Whether it’s big dogs, small dogs, or kids, Thumper loves everyone — and he’s happiest when he’s close to his people.

Thumper’s playful spirit means that just about anything can turn into a toy: socks, shoes, sticks… you name it! He’s not picky when it comes to having fun, and he’s always ready for playtime. His love for toys means he’ll keep you entertained for hours.

While he loves to play, Thumper also thrives on companionship. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day, whether that’s a family with kids or another dog to keep him company. He’s a little cuddle bug and loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you (or even in bed, if you let him!).

Thumper is already making progress with potty training, but has a lot of work to go. He has mastered going up and down stairs. He’s super personable and loves to look into your eyes when you talk to him — it’s like he’s soaking in every word. He’s also a bit vocal and will happily let you know when he wants to be held or just wants to be near you.

Here’s a quick rundown of his health:
• Thumper is up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, and fully vetted.
• He was Giardia positive on intake but has completed treatment and is doing great now.
• He’s on heartworm prevention and eats his Fromm Puppy kibble like a champ, plus he loves treats!

Leia’s Hope is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue. All of our dogs live in foster homes. Applications typically take 7-10 business days to process. Meet & Greets are scheduled only after an application is approved. we do not transport dogs. Adopter must travel to the dogs location in Troy MO for the Meet & Greet/adoption.

Thumper is a 15 year commitment, and his adopter must be prepared to love and support him for his lifetime.
