We are seeking a loving home for our 5½-year-old purebred Dark Golden Retriever from a highly rated KY breeder. This has been a very difficult decision, but due to increased work travel, we want him in a home where he gets the attention and interaction he deserves.He is affectionate, loyal, and happiest around people. He loves outdoors, his toys, and especially chasing and retrieving Chuck-It balls. He wants to be part of what’s happening, but can be anxious around young children, new people, and loud noises. He may give a small growl when unsure, but it’s paired with a wagging tail—he has never been aggressive.He takes daily thyroid medication, which must continue. He would thrive in a calm home without small children, with patient owners who can provide routine, companionship, and plenty of playtime. We are committed to finding a stable, loving home where he will be a valued family member for years to come.
