Meet morris
Morris is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.
Morris is a sweet, easygoing boy with a heart as big as his happy, wagging tail! Originally found as a stray, his owners were never located, and his finder reached out to the rescue community for help. Morris soon moved into his foster home in Houston and acted as though he had lived there his whole life. He quickly adapted to the routine, made fast friends with the other dogs, and showed everyone just how silly, social, and lovable he truly is.
Now Morris is thriving in his new foster home in Wisconsin and continues to impress! He’s especially fond of the 12-year-old child in the home and absolutely loves playtime. Whether he’s running around the yard, tossing his toys in the air and pouncing on them, or engaging in a fun game, Morris knows how to keep himself (and everyone around him) entertained. His playful, goofy personality shines through in everything he does.
Morris rides wonderfully in the car—especially when he knows a walk is part of the adventure! He loves being around people and happily soaks up attention, but he’s also great at entertaining himself when needed. He does very well in both his kennel and his crate, showing what a well-mannered and adaptable boy he is.
Morris would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match his fun-loving energy. He’s a fantastic companion, a total sweetheart, and ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of tail wags to his forever family!

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
