Meet dime
Dime is living in a foster home near Milton, Wisconsin.
Dime is a 10 year old American Water Spaniel who was surrendered to our rescue. Sweet and sensitive, this fella has had a few transitions in his life and is ready for a retirement home to be cherished and loved. Dime received the Paddy’s Paws premier vet package with a full work up. He’s currently about 20 pounds overweight at 61 pounds, so we wanted to ensure he doesn’t have any underlying conditions that needed to be addressed. Thankfully, his tests all came back normal so he just needs a healthy diet and exercise to feel and look his best! He’s only just arrived to foster but he is said to be housetrained, good with dogs of all sizes, playful, and loyal.
Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
