Meet rookie
Please welcome the Military Puppies! Rookie (approximately 16 pounds) and his brothers Major, Sargent, & Chief were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. The Military Pups are wonderful puppies - they are social, friendly, and they LOVE to cuddle. These babies also LOVE to play, so if you have a resident canine in your home, they should be prepared for a puppy to pester them for play time. We have no idea what their breed mix is...they look like little pitties but Sargent has dew claws and blue eyes, so who knows what is going on there?!? The pups just turned three months old, so they are not potty trained yet, but they are intelligent and want to please, so they should pick up the idea once they're in a loving home on a solid schedule. We suspect that Rookie will be 63-77 pounds when full grown, but this is not an exact science, so please take it with a grain of salt. If you'd like to meet Rookie and all of his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
