Meet aspen
I rescued Aspen from BARCS almost 2 years ago. She was only 23 pounds. Now she’s 35 pounds. She’s very sweet with people that she meets in her home or if I take her to someone’s home. Also at the vets. Aspen does get very excited. She tries very hard to sit but has a hard time keeping her butt on the ground. She does very well with routine. Aspen is a Velcro girl. She has separation anxiety, however when left alone for short periods out of her crate she does well. Aspen has not been introduced to other dogs and is reactive on leash. She has been around my grandchildren, ages 9 months- 4 years, but only on leash because she is so excited and doesn’t realize that she weighs 35 pounds, not 5 pounds. Aspen has a very sensitive stomach and cannot have people food or excessive treats. She is on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach Salmon dry dog food. She has had occasional bouts of bloody diarrhea and has been treated. I’m facing long term disability and can’t care for her anymore.
