Adeline is a 5-year-old spayed female who came to us as an APO pickup on 12/7, and she’s been winning hearts ever since. She’s a very sweet, social girl with a happy, wiggly body and a love for attention—especially butt scratches! Adeline is food-motivated, gentle with handling, and easy to leash, though she can be a bit enthusiastic on walks. She has shown polite, curious interest in other dogs and remains soft and tolerant during interactions. Playful and affectionate, Adeline would thrive in a home that can match her energy and give her lots of love. 🐾💛

12/20 staff noted: tubes to shred, dental stick to chew, rosemary scent, changed music to classical

12/19 behavioral assessment:
Easy to remove from kennel, slight jumping. Pulled strongly on leash.

Met The Ab Snowman- hackles raised, ears back, tail middle, loose body, kisses thru the fence, soft eyes. Sniffed and tolerated being sniffed.

Behavioral

Kennel Presentation: Laying on the bed when I approached the kennel. Came to the front with ears to the side, soft eyes and loose wiggly body.

Leash Skills: Easy to leash and mildly pulled on the leash.

Sociability: Very social! Leaned into all handling. Jumped up some when petting would stop but was gentle and put all four on the floor again. Remained soft and loose while handling.

Play: Picked up a toy and carried in her mouth. Dropped it when I offered a treat.

Dog Interaction: Saw yuffie at a distance. Ears to the side, loose body and mid wagging tail. Pulled towards yuffie.

Return to Kennel: Went right back into her kennel and easy to unleash.

Color Level: Exp Gold

Recommendations and considerations:

12/7 staff noted; Very sweet, high energy. During check in she solicited pets from everyone, happy tail wags, very loose and wiggly body, enjoyed butt scratches. Required no restraint for vaccines, food motivated and loved cream cheese on the door.
