Meet zelda
Zelda is a 2-year-old terrier mix with a heart as big as her personality. This sweet girl came to the shelter as a stray and is still learning that the world, and the people in it can be pretty wonderful. She can be a little cautious when first meeting new folks, but give her a moment (and a few tasty treats!) and you’ll see her tail start to wag and her soft, affectionate side shine through. Once Zelda warms up, she’s a total lovebug! Zelda loves to play whether it’s entertaining herself, engaging with her handler, or romping around with other dogs. Tug toys are a favorite, and while she can get a bit excited during play, she’s treat-motivated and happy to trade toys when asked. Zelda would do best with a patient adopter who understands that she may need a little time to feel comfortable but the reward is a playful, loyal companion who’s eager to bond.
