Some dogs get overlooked for one simple reason — they’re waiting for the right home.
Champ has been waiting for over 5 months at Hopewell Animal Services… and we think it’s finally his time. 💛
This 2–3 year old, 70-pound “scruffy masterpiece” is as close to perfection as they come. Maybe doodle, maybe Pyrenees, maybe just 100% good boy — whatever he is, he’s something special.
Champ has truly blossomed during his time at the shelter. He walks beautifully on leash and loves long strolls where he can take in the world by your side. He’s attentive, affectionate, and has the sweetest habit of placing those big, scruffy paws right on your chest to lean in close for love.
