Meet King Pin!
This sweet, steady gentleman spent the last eight years with one family before being surrendered due to a move. Despite the big change, King Pin has shown us kindness and resilience.

King Pin has lived with kids and cats, and his previous owner shared that he’s a total pro with his crate—relaxing there without a fuss. He also loves a good walk and is happiest trotting by your side, taking in the world with his calm, gentle energy.

BEHAVIOR
Volunteer 11/16: VGB who was easy to handle. Minimal pulling great on a leash. King Pin seemed interested in dogs, loose body and wagging tail but didn’t get over-excited. He loved our windy walk- he was boucing along with floppy ears and lifting his head into the sky.
Evaluation 11/13
Kennel Presentation: King Pin was laying down in front of the door. he looked up with neutral eyes and his ears back. I opened the kennel door and he slowly got up. He was easy to secure and came right out with his ears forward and tail down

Leash Skills: pulls minimal to moderate

Sociability: King Pin walked outside for a bit, sniffing around. He sniffed Margret through the fence and we went back inside into the eval room. In the room he fixated on a towel on the ground and began drooling all over it. i removed him from the area as he then chose my shoes dan legs to intensely sniff. I did some handling as he sniffed me which he was tolerant of. Once i touched his back end, his skin did crawl. He kept his tail low and his ears forward the entire time. He was not interested in treats i offered and only came up to me on his own when i walked towards the door to leave. I moved back to the chair and sat down, bringing him with me. He is pretty a social and did his own thing.

Return to Kennel: walked right back into the kennel
