Pluto’s story is one of quiet strength, resilience, and hope. When he was first found, Pluto’s body told a heartbreaking story—thin, weak, and covered in the marks of neglect, he had clearly been struggling to survive for far too long. Yet even in his frailest moments, his eyes showed nothing but kindness and a longing to trust again.

 

With time, care, and steady meals, Pluto has begun to heal. His once fragile frame is filling out, his coat is regaining its shine, and his spirit is blossoming. Today, Pluto is discovering the joy of simple things—soft bedding, full bowls, gentle voices, and the company of people who see him for the beautiful soul he is.

 

Pluto is a large, calm, and affectionate boy. He moves with quiet confidence and has a gentle presence that draws you in. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those who are respectful and laid-back like he is. He’s not demanding; instead, he enjoys just being near his people, resting his head close by, or soaking up a few moments of peace in the sun.

 

After everything he’s been through, Pluto deserves a home that will offer him consistency, kindness, and the unconditional love he has always given in return. He is a living reminder that even after hardship, trust and joy can return with patience and care.

 

Pluto is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He will be fully vetted prior to adoption.

 

Location: Texas (available for transport)

Adoption Fee: $350 plus health certificate and transport (if out of state – varies by location)

Adoption Process: The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. All Pep’s Pals Rescue adoptions include a virtual interview and video meet-and-greet.
