Gigis story is one of quiet resilience and unwavering spirit. This beautiful gray-coated girl was found thin, tired, and doing her best to survive. She was also a new mother, struggling to care for her two tiny puppies while her own body was depleted. Despite her best efforts, one of the puppies did not make it, but Gigi poured every ounce of love into her surviving pup, who is now thriving thanks to her dedication and care.
In rescue, Gigi has begun to heal. With steady meals, gentle hands, and a safe place to rest, her tail wags a little more each day. She adores being near her people, whether curled up for snuggles, padding along for a leisurely walk, or simply laying close by, happy to be part of the moment.

Read below for more information.Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.).Our adoption fee is $300 plus health certificate ($50) and transport ($200 for most locations). This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), and a heartworm test. Spay may not be done for a puppy yet due to age. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
