Meet Chester! 🐾
Chester’s journey has been a winding one. He was originally found as a stray, and his kind-hearted finder spent three weeks trying to locate his home. When he arrived at our shelter, we were hopeful—he had a microchip! But after reaching out, we learned that the registered owners had rehomed him long ago and had no info on where he ended up. So now, Chester is starting fresh and searching for the forever home he truly deserves.
Chester is a happy, affectionate, and playful guy. He’s full of energy and loves to have fun, but more than anything, he bonds deeply with his people. You can tell someone has loved him before—he knows basic commands, rides well in the car, and just wants to be near you.
He will need a secure home, as he has a bit of a habit of hopping fences. That said, he’s never run off—he either comes right to the door or finds one of our volunteers or staff to hang out with. He’s not trying to leave you behind; he’s just trying to be where the people are.
Chester is ready for a family who won’t give up on him. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and slightly mischievous best friend—he’s your guy. 🧡
