Meet Milo 🐾

Milo is a 2 year old American Bulldog mix with a heart every bit as big as his goofy grin. Life changed unexpectedly when his owner passed away, and while family stepped in to make sure he stayed safe and cared for, it was never meant to be a permanent arrangement. Four months later, Milo is finding himself in the shelter and looking for someone who can give him the time, attention, and love he deserves.

Milo has a very sweet disposition and a wonderfully solid temperament. Shelter life has him feeling a little uncertain right now, so he can be a bit bashful meeting strangers at first, but it’s easy to understand why. He came from a home where he was loved and cared for, and adjusting to all the sights, sounds, and routines of the shelter is a lot to process. Give him a little time and you’ll quickly meet the affectionate, playful dog underneath.

He’s already bringing a lot of good habits with him. Milo is house trained, crate trained, enjoys car rides, and has experience living with children, cats, and other dogs. Here at the shelter we introduced him to a playgroup buddy and it became very obvious that Milo enjoys companionship. He gets excited, wants to roughhouse, and loves having someone to play with. He’s an active guy who does best when he has an outlet for that energy and someone willing to include him in life’s adventures.

Milo also walks on leash well… just with a little extra enthusiasm. He’s playful, engaged, and eager to be part of things. More than anything though, Milo feels like a dog who misses having his people.

We know there’s someone out there who needs Milo just as much as Milo needs them. We’d love to help him find home again.
