Meet lucy
We adopted Lucy in November 2023 when she was just under 2 years old. We didn't know her background, but she was so excited to meet us. She made herself right at home and we were excited to start bonding with her.
Half of the time she is very energetic and loves long walks. The other half she is a couch potato. She has anxiety and is nervous when meeting new people and dogs. She can be initially reactive to dogs, but with time she warms up and plays fine. We know this because we have used a doggy daycare and they rate her a yellow dog out of green and red.
The spring following her adoption we unexpectedly got pregnant and weren't sure how things would be with her and the baby.
