When I love you, I love you with my whole heart — and I do not do anything halfway.
Once I have decided you are my person, you will feel it in every look I give you. I will be curled up beside you on movie nights, tail wagging the moment you walk through the door, watching you with those big soulful eyes like you hung every star in the sky. My foster mom says I give more love than dogs twice my size — and she means it.
I am smart, spirited, and wonderfully self-possessed. I know my own mind, I know what I like, and I am not shy about it — which my foster mom finds completely endearing (and, okay, a little hilarious). I love keeping my mind busy with enrichment toys, and nothing makes me happier than settling in with one of my beloved soft toys after a good play session.
I am looking for an experienced dog owner — someone who gets that the best relationships are built, not rushed. A calm, patient home where I can settle in at my own pace is where I will truly thrive. I do best as an only pet, because when I love you, I want to give you everything I have.
My perfect day: a leisurely walk, some playtime on my terms with my favorite soft and enrichment toys, and a long stretch of couch time with my favorite person. Simple, loyal, and completely worth it.
Give me the patient home I deserve, and I will give you everything I have got — for life.
