Meet poppy
Have you ever met a dog whose eyes sparkle with the promise of a thousand adventures yet to come? My name is Poppy, and I am hoping that dog is me, waiting just for you.
I am a petite gal, likely to settle in around thirty five pounds once I am fully grown, with silky brown fur that begs to be petted. Do not let my small size fool you though, because I have a big brain to match my big heart. I already know how to sit, touch, and lie down, and I am currently working hard on learning drop it and leave it. I do so love to learn, and I am clever enough to pick up new skills quickly when someone takes the time to teach me.
I absolutely adore other dogs and have made so many friends during my time here. I am also wonderful with children and would love to be part of a family with little ones running around. I will admit that I can be a bit shy when I first meet someone new, but that shyness never lasts long. Give me a little time and a little patience, and I promise you will see me blossom into the joyful, glowing dog that I truly am.
I am ready to leave my shyness behind and open my heart to someone who will be patient with me while I learn to trust. Could that someone be you? Please come meet me soon, and let us start our story together.
