This little guy is looking for his forever home! Charlie Brown is a 6-year-old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, weighing in at about 11 pounds. His previous owner had to move and, unfortunately, couldn’t take him along, but we know there’s a perfect family out there ready to give him all the love he deserves.

Charlie Brown is a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly—he was giving his foster mom kisses and even showing off his furry little belly within an hour! He’s housebroken, does well with smaller dogs, and even brought his favorite toy from his previous home.

He’s not neutered yet, but don’t worry- we’ll take care of all his vetting and neutering before he heads off to his new home. As we get to know him better, we’ll share more about his personality, but we already know he’s a sweet, affectionate little guy who’s ready to be someone’s best friend.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!

2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.

3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)

4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
