Meet Mercy! Mercy is a Staffie mix about 2 to 3 years old! Mercy still has puppy energy and loves to run, so a fence is ideal, unless you can give her lots of exercise! Mercy seems to do okay with other dogs, but slow introductions are a must. Mercy would respond well to training! WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT MELANIE COMES WITH FREE TRAINING WITH ROSIE DANE DOG TRAINING! Thanks to the Pedigree Foundation, we are able to work with the trainers at Rosie Dane Dog Training to pay for a 10 week Novice Training course once adopted. More details available upon request! If you would like to give Mercy a forever home, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org. MERCY'S ADOPTION FEE IS $170The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
