Meet Luna! Luna is a 6 year old Shepherd/Husky mix. Luna needs a privacy fenced yard as she likes to jump, run and dig. She loves people and needs an active family that will help burn her energy. She does need a home without small children. She is house trained. WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT LCOMES WITH FREE TRAINING WITH ROSIE DANE DOG TRAINING! Thanks to the Pedigree Foundation, we are able to work with the trainers at Rosie Dane Dog Training to pay for a 10 week Novice Training course! lf you would like to give Luna a forever home, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org LUNA'S ADOPTION FEE IS $170The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
