💗 Meet Papaya, a sweet girl who has been let down far too many times in her short life.

Papaya was rescued alongside her babies from a home where she was starved for human affection, while her puppies were actively dying from severe malnourishment and parasite overload.💔

When the person who saved them reached out for help, we stepped up without hesitation.

At the time, her rescuer expressed a strong interest in fostering to adopt Papaya once she was medically cleared. We were thrilled thinking this sweet mama would finally have the loving home she deserved.

Unfortunately, when that time came, we were informed that they had adopted another dog from the shelter and could no longer take Papaya because they couldn’t handle having two dogs.

And just like that, Papaya was in need yet again. 💔

Despite everything she’s been through, Papaya is an absolutely WONDERFUL girl with so much love to give!

Papaya has already spent so much of her young life being deprived of the love, care, and stability she deserved. She raised her babies under heartbreaking circumstances, survived neglect, and somehow still has the sweetest soul. 🥹❤️

She deserves to finally be someone’s first choice. Not an afterthought. Not a backup plan. A FAMILY who chooses her and means it.

Now that she is ready to move out of her medical foster… We are desperately searching for someone willing to open their heart and home to this special girl, whether that’s as a foster or a foster-to-adopt family.
