Meet lou
Lou is an almost 10-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul, a little bit of an anxious side, and a whole lot of love to give. He’s happiest when he’s getting plenty of attention, spending time outside, and—most importantly—being offered a treat. He has yet to meet a snack he’ll turn down!
Despite being almost 10, Lou still loves being active and playing outside. He would do best in a home where he can get outside regularly and receive plenty of exercise, interaction, and attention throughout the day. When he gets bored or doesn’t have enough activity, his curious side tends to take over and he can get into things around the house.
On walks, Lou is a strong boy and can pull pretty hard on a leash, so he’ll need someone comfortable handling him. His recall is decent, and he has also been trained with an e-collar. Although we don’t use it nearly as often as we used to, he still responds very well to it when we do.
Lou absolutely loves kids and has always done wonderfully with them. He
