Meet kota
Kota is a 6-year-old Shepherd mix, around 45 pounds, with lots of energy and so much love to give. She’s nervous around new people at first, but once she warms up she becomes incredibly loyal and affectionate. She loves fetch, cuddling, lounging with her people, and knows simple commands. She is kennel trained.We love Kota deeply, but since moving over a year ago, her behavior has changed significantly. She has frequent accidents in the house, has become very reactive during baths and nail trims, and will snarl or nip when uncomfortable. She has become more protective of her space, and we no longer feel confident having her around small children as we begin planning for a family.We have tried our best to work with her, but we can no longer afford the training and care she truly needs. This decision has been heartbreaking, but she deserves a home with someone who has the time, patience, and EXPERIENCE to help her thrive.NO 1ST TIME PET OWNERS!!!!SHE WOULD NOT DO WELL IN AN APARTMENT!!!!
