Meet Mister Doc – The Healer of Hearts

Abandoned, frightened, and alone... but destined to be someone’s everything. Imagine being a tiny puppy, only three months old, left all alone on a beach in Puerto Rico, surrounded by dangers you’re far too little to understand. No loving arms to hold you. No safe place to sleep. No one to promise you that everything would be okay. Just a frightened, hungry little boy trying to survive. That was Mister Doc’s reality. Thankfully, he was found and rescued before an unthinkable fate could become his story.

At just 3 months old and 9 pounds, this precious boy is already an expert at the one thing that matters most: making people fall in love with him! Despite everything he’s been through, Mister Doc is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of love. His little heart hasn’t closed itself off to the world. Instead, he’s ready to share his sweetness with everyone he meets.

We're guessing this handsome little guy is a Lab Retriever/Mountain Cur mix, but whatever his heritage, we know one thing for sure: he's 100% lovable! He gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

For now, Mister Doc is safe and being cared for by a temporary foster who is giving him a chance to experience kindness and security. But this is only a temporary stop on his journey. What he really needs is a forever family to call his own—a family who will never abandon him and who will love him for all the days of his life.

This little healer needs someone to heal his heart, too. Someone who will show him what it means to be cherished. Someone who will tuck him into a cozy bed, kiss his little head, take him on adventures, and never let him wonder again whether he is safe or loved. It's time for him to discover warm blankets, happy puppy kisses, a full belly, and the beautiful feeling of finally belonging. He may be just a tiny puppy, but he has a heart big enough to fill a home with love. All he needs is a family willing to give him the chance he so desperately deserves.
