Meet jade
Jade (approximately 50 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is a super sweet lady who can be initially anxious in new situations but she warms up quickly, especially when some baby talk and a snack treat (or two) are involved. She loves people and is usually at the front of her kennel with her tail wagging, waiting for a walk or a treat. Jade walks well on leash and often has her nose to the ground for a sniffari (get it - a sniffing safari?), which tracks because we believe she is part hound and that breed group is VERY nose-driven. Jade was excellent for her veterinary exam, adding the veterinarian to her ever-growing fan club. She participated in doggie play groups at her previous shelter and loves other dogs - in fact, when she is out on leash and see other dogs, she always gravitates towards them. Jade was living 100% outdoors at her previous shelter, so she will likely need a potty training reminder once she's in her fur-ever home with her beloved (and patient) people. Come meet our gorgeous and affectionate lady Jade today - she is ready to be someone's heart dog!If you'd like to meet Jade and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
