Meet axel
Axel (approximately 58 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He is a gorgeous lad - I mean come on, did you see his pics?!? - with a personality to match his looks. Sweet Axel thrives on human attention and is always ready to make a new friend (or three). He loves squeaky toys a lot, but what he loves even more are snack treats. You got it, this boy is determined to try every snack treat in the world so he can confidently judge which one is best, and he loves it when his humans help him with this endeavor. He was originally surrendered in Texas with another dog that he got along well with, and he was a happy participant in the doggie play groups at his previous shelter. Axel is ready to bring is affectionate nature and Southern boy charm into his fur ever home, so come meet him today - you'll be so glad you did!If you'd like to meet Axel and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Plus, this fall, we will be open until 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays! Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today.
