Meet macaroni *arriving 10/24* d12650
Looking for a companion who wants to be near you without being overly clingy? Meet Macaroni, or Mac for short!
Mac is a sweet, easygoing girl who enjoys being part of the family without demanding constant attention. She'll happily follow you from room to room, but she's just as content entertaining herself with a toy on the couch while you go about your day. She has excellent house manners, and does fine in a crate. She's also making great progress with her leash skills.
Mac loves being part of a pack and would prefer a home with other playful dogs. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and isn't overwhelmed by multiple dogs in the household. She also ignores cats, making her a great potential addition to a home with other pets.
Mac is initially shy around unfamiliar people, but she's very polite about it. She doesn't bark at guests or jump all over them. Instead, she quietly keeps her distance until she feels comfortable. Because she can become spooked by unfamiliar people, a home without young children would be best.
If you're looking for a sweet, respectful companion who enjoys your company without needing constant attention, Mac might be the perfect girl for you. Give her a little patience while she gets comfortable, and you'll have a wonderful companion who is happy just being part of your life.
Macaroni is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 10/24/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and 11:00. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
