Meet Wesley! Wow, is this guy a looker — and lucky for us, he has the personality to match. Wesley is a male American Bully mix who currently weighs 53 pounds and is estimated to be 5 years old. He may be short and stout, but this handsome guy has plenty of personality packed into that sturdy frame!Wesley has a very special way of walking. Picture Hulk Hogan entering the wrestling ring — big confidence, a little swagger, and definitely making an entrance. And don`t let his stocky build fool you. Wesley may look like he`s built for lounging, but he does like to jump when he`s excited to see you. It`s not exactly a high jump, but it`s his way of saying, “HEY! I`M REALLY HAPPY YOU`RE HERE!”Wesley is also a strong boy on leash and will pull, so his new family will need to be prepared to work with him and have the strength to handle his enthusiasm. He has a medium energy level and isn`t looking for a family that wants to run a marathon every morning. Wesley is much more interested in the good life — a comfy bed, a loving home, some quality companionship, and maybe a beautiful sunset to watch together.Wesley came to us as a stray, and sadly, no one came looking for him. Their loss is someone else`s opportunity to meet this wonderful dog. Wesley is past the puppy stage and is a well-mannered guy who is ready to settle into a home of his own. He doesn`t need to be the center of an action-packed lifestyle. He just wants to be your buddy and enjoy all the little things that make life good.Wesley has shown great potential with other dogs. As always, a meet and greet with any resident canine is required. His compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown.What Wesley really needs is someone who appreciates a dog with a little character. Someone who doesn`t mind a boy with a big personality, a little leash strength, and an occasional “Hulk Hogan” jump.
