❤️Sometimes love is right in front of you ... and you just miss the connection. This dog is part of our Missed Connections club - a group of our most patient pups who've been waiting longer than others to find their soulmate. Take a closer look - they could be your perfect match! Adoption fee: $45. A lifetime of love: Priceless.❤️---- Loves people - and everyone seems to love him! Likes to be at the center of whatever's going on so he can share his happy personality and a youthful spirit - Gentle, well-behaved boy who adores treats and booty scratches and is comfortable with being touched anywhere - Spent time in a foster home and loved lying by the window near his people- Was 100% potty trained in his foster home and would alert the family when he needed to go out; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new schedule - Really enjoys walks and does best with a harness; gets excited when we're about to take him out and bounces happily so his front feet come just off the ground; would be a great walking buddy - and daily walks would be great for helping him shed a few pounds so he can feel his best - Does very well in the car - Not too interested in toys, but may play with tennis balls a little - Knows sit, come and his name- Loves bacon and peanut butter - Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style and may prefer to be the only dog in his home (dog intro required) - Needs a home with no cats This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you're interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org.The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Brown Weight: 102 Age: 10yrs 8mths 2wks
