Meet bubba - no longer accepting applications

Meet Bubba, an 11-week-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with a sweet personality and plenty of puppy charm! Weighing about 15 pounds now, this handsome boy is expected to be a medium-sized adult.Bubba is smart, affectionate, and sweet, with just a touch of independence. He loves playing with his humans, wrestling with his sister, and snuggling up on the couch for a nap. His favorite toys are plushies, especially his beloved big duck stuffy, which he happily sleeps with. And when it comes to food, Bubba is a very enthusiastic fan!Like any puppy, Bubba is still working on his house-training, but he is doing well with his crate and sleeps nicely through the night. He even goes into his crate on his own sometimes. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with his canine friends. He has had some interaction with cats and showed no signs of aggression. He should do well with kids, too, with the usual supervision and guidance for a puppy.Bubba was a little nervous when he first arrived in his foster home, but he settled in comfortably within about 24 hours. He has typical puppy energy without seeming overly energetic and is generally a happy, easygoing little guy. He can get a bit vocal when his foster is preparing food because apparently waiting for dinner is very difficult!Bubba is getting neutered on October 10 and will be ready to find his forever family. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful puppy who enjoys both fun and couch time, Bubba might be your guy!If you are interested in Bubba, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration).
