Meet lilah
Meet Lilah! She is a 10mo old female Mixed breed (Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd/Kuvasz) mis that weighs 60lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/5 as a stray. Tho we are still helping her learn to walk better on a leash, once she is in the play yard, she starts prancing around the yard with her tail held high, taking treats gently, and leaning in for plenty of pets. When sitting down, she told me she wanted to be my BFF and wanted to sit in my lap, so I could give her hugs and kisses. She does get excited at times and will jump on you, tho gently. She has a calm, gentle, laid back personality. Lilah does enjoy chasing balls, tho she doesn’t bring them back most times. Walking past the other dogs barking, she doesn’t show any interest in them, yet its clear to see all the noise makes her nervous. If you do have another dog in the home, please ask the shelter for a dog test. Its clear to see what a wonderful loving companion she would make. Having a secured yard to play in, then come back inside to cuddle close, is what this gentle girl deserves. She will capture your heart, just as we have. Come spend some time with her.
