It will take time and patience to get to know me. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my people from other dogs.I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments that can be overwhelming. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help me!Give me a little time to adjust and I will show you I am the biggest sweetheart.I am eligible for the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here.The type of home I'm looking for:I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home. No busy neighborhoods.I need to be the only dog in the home.Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make me uncomfortable, I would do best in a home with calm, older children.It could be with you!
