What does home mean to a dog who has never had four walls of his own?
Meet Hutch. For a long time, home for Hutch was the inside of a car. It was small and cramped, but he did not mind, because his family was there. His people, his cat sibling, and his dog siblings all squeezed in together, and as long as they were together, Hutch felt safe. They loved him the best way they knew how.
Then one day, everything changed, and Hutch found himself at the shelter. Now his family is no longer beside him, and it shows. He is sad. He misses the warmth of his pack. He is a little thin, and he is still learning that good meals and soft beds are meant to be his.
But Hutch has so much love left to give. He is gentle, loyal, and grateful for every kind word and every scratch behind his ears. Having grown up sharing space with cats and dogs, he knows how to be a good roommate. All he needs is someone willing to give him a chance.
