Meet Lucy — The Loyal Lovebug - Who Never Gave Up on Her Babies
Some stories break your heart... and then there are stories like Lucy’s — stories that remind us just how incredibly strong a mother’s love can be.
Lucy was dumped at a gas station in Puerto Rico with her puppies, left to fend for herself and her babies in terrible circumstances. She had every reason to give up, but she didn’t. Somehow, through hunger, fear, and uncertainty, this sweet mama managed to keep her puppies alive until help finally arrived.
Her babies have now found their forever homes, and after giving everything she had to them, it’s finally Lucy’s turn.
Lucy is estimated to be 3–4 years old, and she is an absolute sweetheart. She is playful, loving, loyal, and has a wonderful temperament. She gets along well with other dogs and has so much love left to give.
Imagine what she must have been through... and yet Lucy still chooses to trust. She still wants to play. She still loves. She still believes that someone will come for her.
