Meet storm
Meet Storm! đž
Storm is an intelligent, energetic Siberian Husky looking for a special retirement home. Originally rescued, Storm entered our Dogs 4 Valor program and received approximately 1,000 hours of training as a psychiatric service dog. He knows PTSD/anxiety interruption, night-terror response, and some mobility tasks.
Following a medical emergency that unexpectedly separated Storm from his handler for several days, he experienced behavioral regression and later had two bite incidents involving resource guarding and face startle. Because of this, Storm is permanently retired from public-access service work and should NOT be used as a service dog in public.
Storm could be a wonderful at-home emotional support companion for an experienced, confident adult; male preferred. A structured home without young children and someone comfortable managing his triggers and continuing his training.
Storm is loyal, smart, active, and deeply devoted to his person. â¤ď¸
