After spending his entire life in an overcrowded environment, he is getting his chance to discover what it means to be loved and cared for in a home of his own.White Panther is part of an owner-surrender/hoarding situation in Mississippi, where his owner had approximately 40 Pomeranian/Chihuahua mixes and could no longer care for them. He had never experienced much of the world outside that environment, but now he is ready for a fresh start and a chance at the happy life he deserves.Meet White PantherWhite Panther is a sweet and friendly little guy who will benefit from patience, love, and understanding as he adjusts to life as a cherished family member. He may need some time to build confidence and become comfortable with new experiences, but he is ready to discover just how wonderful life can be.His potty training is still something his new family may need to work on, as he likely relied primarily on puppy pads in his previous environment. His experience with crate training and leash walking is also unknown, so his family should be prepared to help him learn these skills with patience and positive reinforcement.White Panther is looking for a loving forever home that will give him the time, consistency, and encouragement he needs to continue blossoming. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option.
