Meet Missy!
Looking for a loyal, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart? Meet Missy! This sweet girl loves being around her people and has a particularly adorable way of showing her affection: she gives hugs!
Missy is a wonderful combination of independent and loving. She enjoys doing her own thing, but she also wants to be near her favorite people and will happily stop by for some attention and a cuddle. She has been around other dogs and does well with them, although she’s perfectly content being her independent self, too. Missy is also good with children!
Missy does have a few important needs that will help her thrive in her forever home. She is a talented little escape artist, so she needs a secure fence that is at least 6 feet tall and should never be left outside unattended. Her new family will also need to make sure she can’t find a creative way to slip through, over, or under her fencing. And because poultry is simply not on Missy’s approved list, she needs a home without chickens or other poultry.
Missy may take a little time to feel comfortable when settling into a new environment, so a patient family and predictable routine will help her feel safe and confident. Once she knows she’s home, you’ll get to see the sweet, affectionate girl who loves being with her people.
