Meet gracie
We adopted Gracie in 2024 but she was on her own before that. As a result, she can be a bit anxious, but we’ve made a lot of progress. Unfortunately, our life situation is changing, and we will no longer be able to give her the care and attention she deserves.
While initially reserved, Gracie is a sweet, loving dog once she gets to know you. She can be quite playful, although she’s usually content to relax around the house.
She sometimes reacts to triggers like sudden loud noises and is protective of the household. She’s an effective watchdog. She has had one minor bite incident that broke skin (no medical attention needed), but the majority of the time her anxiety is very manageable. She is currently in training and is progressing very well!
Her ideal situation would be as a solo pet in a quiet home with adults only or possibly older children who are willing to continue her training. She is potty trained, sleeps in her crate at night, and walks great on a leash. A great companion
