Meet liesel
Liesel is a great companion. She is a 4-yr old mixed breed that I got from a friend who adopted here from KC Pet Project. Overall, she is a smart and affectionate doggo that loves attention and is very treat motivated. She can also be a good guard dog. Most days we get outside for a run and to play fetch outside, but she is also perfectly comfortable taking naps while one is busy at work. She's always down to play with here squeaker toys, tog-o-war rope or go to town on a chew toy. Definitely a cuddle bug in the evenings.
Liesel has suffered through some past trauma that has led to resource guarding and on-leash reactivity towards other dogs. For that reason, she would probably do best in a home without any other pets. We are making progress at the off-leash dog park but still needs further training and socialization. She has been fearful reactive to strangers at times but warms up to them quickly.
