Meet Piper – The Sweet Little Explorer Who Leads with Kisses

Piper has a pretty simple introduction strategy:

First, she kisses your ears. Then she's off to explore the world.

This affectionate, playful puppy is a wonderful combination of social and independent. She loves attention, enjoys being with people and other animals, but she's also showing that once she has time to acclimate to her surroundings, she's perfectly capable of doing her own thing.

She's sweet, silly, curious, and ready to discover what's next.

Affectionate Without Being Clingy

Piper's way of showing affection is pretty adorable.

She'll come in for some love, make sure your ears have been thoroughly kissed—and then she's ready to move on to whatever interesting thing caught her attention.

She's social and affectionate while still being comfortable developing her own independence.

That's something her foster family has been intentionally encouraging while Piper and Peanut learn to spend time separately.

Piper is handling that independence work very well.

Off to a Great Start

Piper is still very much a baby, so her training journey is just beginning.

Her potty-training introduction has started, and she's already doing well in her crate with a structured routine and schedule.

Formal obedience training hasn't started yet, and her leash manners still need work. She currently pulls, so that's another puppy skill her future family can continue developing.

She's expected to have medium energy as she grows—playful and adventurous, but also perfectly capable of settling down for a good puppy nap.

She's still a baby, so there are plenty of things she hasn't experienced yet. Her future family gets the fun of introducing her to those adventures while helping her grow into the confident adult dog she's already showing the potential to become.
