Finn is a 1 year old pittie mix. He’s currently 56 pounds, but will likely reach 60-70 pounds once he’s fully grown.

Finn may have had an unkind life before Pawsitive Tails, but he’s really starting to open up to the good life! He’s what you might call a “gentle giant”. He’s learned that humans can be kind and loving to him. And, in turn, he’s decided he also enjoys giving humans gentle, unconditional love too. 💗

Since Finn is playing catch-up learning how great being a dog can be, he’s discovered he can finally run, chase, and play to his heart’s content! He now knows that if he does a wiggly butt jump, that tells the humans he’s ready for playtime! Afterward, he enjoys relaxing with his people. He even likes bones and rubber toys.

Finn quickly learned going potty outside earns him treats, which he loves! He sleeps quietly with his foster family’s pack of pups on the bedroom floor because he gets along so well with them. He would love a K9 sibling to keep him company. 🐕 Finn was very frightened of the outside cats at his foster home and wouldn't even walk by them. He has recently begun chasing them, but he hasn't hurt any. He hasn't pestered the indoor/outdoor cat!

Finn is not a fan of the kennel but does well to free roam when left at home. He also found out what a leash was recently and isn’t currently a big fan. His foster family has been working with him on both, but his furever family will need to, too. Can you blame the poor guy, though? It’s ALL new to him.

Finn does great with kids and wants to play since he enjoys it so much. Because of this, smaller ones may be scared, but bigger ones will probably be just fine. Remember, he IS a gentle giant…but also still trying to understand his size. 😁

If you can offer lots of calm reassurance, treats, love, and patience, as well as a fenced-in yard, then Finn may be the perfect gentle giant to bless your family! 🍀

Finn’s adoption fee is $175 and includes his neutering, vaccinations, microchip, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. We'll contact approved adopters to schedule a meet-and-greet.
