Meet bertrude eugene
Bertrude is a 7 yr old lab mix. He's a sweet, goofy, snuggle bug who thinks he's a lap dog. He loves everyone and is wonderful with dogs, cats, babies, toddlers, and strangers. He even adjusts his play style around older dogs. He is house and crate trained and happiest in a home full of people who aren't away most of the day working. Bertrude has severe food allergies requiring a strict diet and careful monitoring to prevent painful ear infections. He is leash reactive, so a fenced yard is strongly preferred. He also needs to be crated when home alone because boredom can lead to chewing. He is not destructive in any other circumstance. Our family circumstances have changed with a new baby, another on the way, and my husband and I both working and going to school full-time. Bertrude deserves more time and attention than we can now give him. We want his next home to be his forever home with a family who has plenty of love, companionship, and time for him.
