Meet tex
Tex was adopted from the Humane Society when he was 4 months old and is now 10.5 yrs old. Tex has always been the energic spunky goofy part of our growing family which now includes a toddler and soon to be infant. Unfortunately through this growing process Tex has not done well with the addition of kids and can not be around them. This has grown extremely hard to manage separation between Tex and the toddler which will only get more difficult with a new born. This separation hasn't been kind to Tex since he always wants to be included and around his favorite human. We had really hoped this would work itself out because we want nothing more than to keep Tex, but unfortunately we are at the point it is best for all parties if he is rehomed. Ideally Tex's new home has someone that can keep him active since he is still energic, possibly with outdoor space to let him hunt & roam, and also enjoy cuddles on the couch. Tex's new home should be free of other pets and children.
