Cooper (approximately 55 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. Volunteer dog walkers have been swooning over this boy since his arrival - he is super sweet, walks well on leash, and is much calmer than you'd expect a dog of his age to be. Of course, Cooper can throw down and play with the best of them - he loves to get silly with his humans, with other dogs, and with toys, and his joy in play time is unmatched. Cooper LOVES snacks and responds very well to reward-based training - he is very smart and responsive, especially when he sees the treat pouch, LOL! He had a great time playing with other dogs at his previous shelter and he has been friendly towards the other dogs he has encountered here. With his happy smile, movie-star good-looks, and well-mannered charm, Cooper is quite the dreamboat - come down & meet him today!If you'd like to meet Cooper and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
