Meet handsome Koda who was owner surrendered on 8/6/26.He has been waiting everyday since for someone to notice him. Someone to come and give him a second chance.
Koda is a stunning and majestic black/tan German Shepherd. Also did a mention, he has huge cuteness overload. His face can just melt your heart when you look into his kind eyes. Sweet boy who allows all over touch. He would love to be your next adventure buddy.
Per owner notes: He is friendly with all people, children and dogs, but does not like cats. High energy.
Shelter notes: I took Koda to the yard today, he can present with barking at the kennel door but was very easy to leash and walked great to the yard. Gentle with treats, he allowed all over touch but was not attention seeking from me at this time. Koda chased after a ball when it was tossed but was not interested in picking it up or returning it to me but the squeaky toy really caught his attention. Koda is very aware of his surrounding and in true German Shepherd nature patrolled the fence lines before returning to me for any treats or attention. Koda was easy to leash and walked back to the kennel without issue. Koda has not been dog tested yet but was non-reactive to dogs in the kennel or yard areas.
Koda was out on the shelter playground during doggy playgroups. He was a superstar! He did great with multiple dogs (male and female). He fell in love with female girl dog Pilar.
