Meet rayna
Rayna is an eleven-year-old, 63-pound mix that was found wandering with a senior black lab and taken to a shelter. We found out about her when we took the lab, which was healthy when he was turned into the shelter, but got too much vetting too quickly, tanking his immunity, and leaving him vulnerable to kennel cough, which ultimately turned into pneumonia, and took his life. Rayna was on our list to rescue because we didn’t want to leave her behind, and turns out she was adopted from that same shelter back in 2015. We had an offer to foster her, and she is doing very well there. The foster says she is friendly with people and other dogs, great in the house, and a wonderfully easy and well-behaved dog that seems to be healthy and gets around well. Rayna deserves much better than what life has given her, and we have promised her that this time around, we’ll find a real forever home.
