My name is Cera, and I made the trip to Wisconsin with all of my littermates! I'm a sweet, gentle girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things. I don't take long to warm up, though. I'm curious about the world around me, but I like to take my time and make sure everything is safe first. Once I know you're a friend, you'll quickly discover that I absolutely love snuggles, belly rubs, and giving lots of kisses! I'm living with several bigger dog foster siblings, and one of my favorite things is chasing them around the yard. I also have a little boy in my foster home, and we enjoy playing together and cuddling. There are chickens here too, but they seem a little scary, so I'm happy to keep my distance from them. I'm also learning how to live with cats. Right now, I mostly want to sniff them and see if they'll play, but my foster family is helping me learn to be respectful of their space. I'm doing wonderfully with crate training and stay in my crate during the day while my foster mom is away. I'm also making great progress with potty training and have already started learning basic commands like sit and crate. At night, I get to sleep on my foster mom's bed, and I'm a very good girlI sleep through the night without any accidents or waking her up. Well...except sometimes I wake her up with kisses! I just can't help sharing the love. I'm still settling in and learning new things every day, so check back soon as my foster family gets to know me even better!   8/8 Update: I am doing so well in my foster home. I have met a lot of new people and have warmed up a little quicker each time when the person is respectful and lets me come to them for a sniff. I also have only had a mess in my crate once the whole time I was here, I am grasping potty training very well. I also have discovered dog toys and how much fun they can be to chew and squeak. At the end of the day I like to snuggle a bit before I go to bed in my crate and sleep through the night. I am ready to start meeting my new forever family!   8/24 Update: Just checking in to let you know I have done so well with potty training and haven't had any messes in my crate or in the house in over a week. My favorite things to play with are the Tennis ball, and my stuffed dinosaur. I am starting to realize how much I love people and I am more comfortable each day with new people. Even at the vet I would walk up to everyone with a slight tail wag. I love going on walks, there are tons of things to smell and I do pretty well on a leash sticking by my foster mom. I am a very playful puppy, but boy do I love to snuggle as well. With you or another dog. I am so ready to find my forever home with a family that loves to be outside and go on walks. But, also loves to snuggle up at the end of the day. Puppies 8 weeks 6 Months will require a spay/neuter deposit of $150 that is refundable once L.E.A.R.N. is provided proof that spay/neuter is complete.
