OK Fern, now smile for the camera! :-) This 2-year old, 15-pound Chihuahua mix doesn’t always wear a grin on her silly little face…but when she gives you that smirk, it’s the cutest thing imaginable!

Fern is everything you could ever hope for in a dog…and then some. She loves everyone and is very friendly; she is housebroken and well-mannered on a leash; she travels well and is lightweight and portable; she gets along fabulously with other dogs; she rarely barks and barely sheds; and she is as darling and affectionate as they come. C’mon now, does it get any better than that?

Fern doesn’t know any commands just yet, but she sure does like treats. She is such an angel, she rarely needs correction or re-direction. If Fern can’t make it outside to go potty, she will simply use a pee pad. She doesn’t seem too interested in toys, but she does enjoy horsing around with some of her canine pals. She shares her space, her bed, and all her other belongings with ease, and she never ever looks for drama.

Fern’s all-time favorite activity is snuggling up to her human(s) while receiving belly rubs and pets. When it’s time to go outside, she always gets excited, and is happy to go for either a long stroll or a quick loop around the block. Your wish is her command. A true people dog, Fern’s least favorite thing is being separated from her loved ones…but after a brief Hey-where’d-ya-go, she settles down nicely and winds up sleeping the whole time. Fern is, in every sense of the word, an absolute gem. She is an easy-going, kind-hearted, funny, adorable, sweet ‘lil bundle of love, and whoever brings this girl home is in for the treat of a lifetime!!!
