Meet beatrice
Hi, I’m Beatrice, a beautiful young Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a sweet soul and a little bit of shyness. I’m still learning that people can be kind and that I’m safe, so I’ll need a patient adopter who is willing to give me the time and space I need to decompress and build confidence.Because of my past, we suspect I may not have always been treated the way I deserved. I can be timid, especially when I’m unsure of something, but with patience, consistency and positive experiences, I’m hoping to learn to trust and let my personality shine. As a Malinois/German Shepherd mix, I’m going to need an active home prepared to provide plenty of daily exercise, training, mental stimulation and structure. I’m just a puppy, so I have lots to learn, and I’ll need someone committed to helping me grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult. If you’re looking for a special puppy and are willing to be patient while I find my confidence, I may be the girl for you. I have so much potential and am hoping someone will give me the chance to show them just how wonderful I can be.If you are interested in meeting Beatrice, the first step is to complete an application through the dog’s profile at newberganimals.com.Once your application is reviewed and approved, we’ll reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet appointment. Appointments are required so we can make sure a team member is available to assist you.The shelter is open Monday–Saturday 11am–6pm and Sunday 11am–4pm (adoptions end one hour prior to close).Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
