Meet yassandra
Meet Yaz!Hi, my name is Yassandra, but my friends call me Yaz! I’m a beautiful German Shepherd girl with the most wonderfully oversized, adorable ears you’ve ever seen!I can be a little shy when we first meet, but give me just a little time and I’ll warm right up. Once I’m comfortable, I’m a total love and would be happy to soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.I already know sit, and I’m a quick learner who is eager to please. With the right person, I’m sure I’ll be showing off even more of my skills in no time!As a German Shepherd, I’ll thrive with an active family who can give me plenty of daily exercise, mental stimulation, and training. A securely fenced yard would be ideal so I have room to stretch my legs and enjoy some outdoor adventures. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, beautiful girl with giant ears and an even bigger heart, come meet Yaz! She’s ready to find her forever family. If you are interested in meeting Yassandra, the first step is to complete an application through the dog’s profile at newberganimals.com.Once your application is reviewed and approved, we’ll reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet appointment. Appointments are preferred so we can make sure a team member is available to assist you.The shelter is open Monday–Saturday 11am–6pm and Sunday 11am–4pm (adoptions end one hour prior to close).Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
